Represent the real business
Describe the services actually delivered and the areas the business genuinely serves. Keep contact details and hours accurate. A service-area business should follow platform guidance and must not present a virtual address as a staffed office. Do not create city pages or listings for places the business does not serve.
Make local landing pages useful
A location page should answer genuine local questions, explain availability and provide original details that help a visitor decide. Replacing the city name in duplicate text is not a useful local experience. If there is no meaningful local information to share, a clear nationwide or service-area page is often more honest.
Measure actions and eligibility
Track calls, relevant enquiries and directions only where applicable, and review them with site analytics. Local visibility can vary by searcher and context. Confirm profile eligibility and platform rules before changing a listing; no provider can guarantee verification or a particular Maps position.
